The Allt na Dail Fearna hydro scheme at Loch Awe runs a 165kW pelton turbine, fed by 730m of pipe. The scheme operates with a head of around 140m with both the intake and powerhouse being discrete in size and location. Wemyss Renewables identified the site in 2012 before achieving consents in late 2013. The scheme was built and commissioned in 2017 alongside its sister scheme Allt Mor, and receives Feed in Tariff payments.
